World Cancer Day held everyย 4 Februaryย is theย global uniting initiative led by theย Union for International Cancer Controlย (UICC). By raising worldwideย awareness, improvingย educationย and catalysing personal, collective and governmentย action, we are all working together to reimagine a world where millions of preventable cancer deaths are saved and access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equitable for all – no matter who you are or where you live.ย
This year’s World Cancer Day’s theme, โClose the Care Gapโ, is all about celebrating progress in its many forms that enable more people to seek and receive the care they need and deserve. It is about providing the momentum to fuel our fight for fairness. We will build stronger alliances and innovative new collaborations; we will mobilise friends, family, co-workers and communities because we know that united, we are stronger.
Join us on 4 February andย help close the cancer care gap for a cancer-free world.

This is a reminder for you to give your balls a feel every month or so, get to know what is normal for you, and if anything changes you can act on it early.
