Our Volunteer Team are incredible! They are a vital part of our events, and represent our Charity across the UK. Fancy joining the Rugby Against Cancer family? Here’s how you can get involved.
We need volunteers for a variety of roles, commitment starts from a few hours to full weekend events. Our events are diverse, fun and one-of-a-kind – from rugby matches to ultra-challenges – no two events are the same.
By volunteering your time to support an event you’ll be having a direct impact on the amount of money we raise so that we can continue to increase our support.
Event volunteers make sure the events run smoothly, from helping with registration, to bucket shaking and supporting our event fundraisers. Your involvement is as important as theirs. Our volunteers represent Rugby Against Cancer at other events and fundraisers to help raise awareness of the Charity and spread the word!
Perhaps you have a particular skill or experience to help us out? They could include writing, planning, photography, first aider or sports therapy. Some volunteer roles can be done remotely.
To reach more people around the UK we need to spread our posters in rugby clubs, pubs, shops – could you be a local volunteer to help us communicate in your local area
Volunteering for Rugby Against Cancer will be a rewarding experience. We can guarantee you will come away from an event with exhilaration of making a huge difference to those affected by cancer. Plus, the camaraderie of being part of the Rugby Against Cancer team.
Please contact our coordinator to register your interested in volunteering to help with one of our events.
